The hotel

Thai hospitality at the end of the peninsula.

The Bangkok group Dusit International opened this resort on 29 March 2019, built with the Philippine developer Robinsons Land. It stands at the northern tip of the Punta Engaño peninsula, on Mactan. Many of the 272 rooms look out to sea, and the larger suites carry nautical names: Governor's Suite, Captain's Suite and Admiral Suite. The Department of Tourism accredits it as a resort, and the MICHELIN Guide lists it in its 2026 hotel selection.

The pool sets the tone: an infinity pool a hundred metres long, facing the water. The Sky Garden is an open-air venue for events and sunset cocktails, and next to it Benjarong, the group's Thai restaurant, cooks behind an open kitchen. The ballroom, at 1,200 square metres, is the largest on Mactan. The resort also has Namm Spa, a gym called D-Fit and an indoor play area for children.
