The hotel

Thermal water on the Aegean shore.

Çeşme sits at the western tip of the peninsula that runs out from İzmir towards the Greek island of Chios, and the area is known for its thermal waters. The resort has pools of natural thermal water of its own. It faces the Aegean from the Altınyunus shore, a few kilometres from the castle and the harbour where ferries leave for Chios.

In 2025 the hotel closed for nine months. Rooms, bathrooms, façades, restaurants and bars were all redone, the gardens were replanted and the acoustics improved, and it reopened in July 2025. Every room gained new beds, sound insulation and faster internet. The spa, Dulcis Thermal Spa & Hammam, stays open through the winter, so the resort works in every season, even when the beach bars close.

  • Dulcis Thermal Spa & Hammam Twenty-one treatment rooms, three hammams, Finnish and dry saunas, an indoor pool with jet streams and pools of natural thermal water.
  • Pool and beach An outdoor pool of about 1,000 square metres above a private beach that holds the Blue Flag.
  • A day in Greece The ferry terminal is about 6 kilometres away, and the crossing to Chios takes around fifteen minutes.
