The hotel
A Belek resort, rebuilt.
The resort opened in 2007 as Ela Quality Resort Belek, two kilometres from the village of Belek and 45 kilometres from the centre of Antalya. Its grounds run to 110,000 square metres and reach straight down to the sea. Work began on the beach promenade in 2021, and the whole hotel was renovated in 2022. It now trades as Ela Excellence.
Rooms sit in the main building and in Lake Houses set round a pool lagoon, some with steps straight into the water. A semi-Olympic pool, heated, lies in a calmer corner away from the main pool. At the top of the range, the Villa Sultan Palace has four bedrooms on about 1,230 square metres of land, with a private pool, a whirlpool and a hammam.
