The hotel
A Ring Road address since 1983.
The hotel opened in 1983 at Bhikaji Cama Place, a busy office and shopping hub on the Ring Road in South Delhi, close to the embassies of Chanakyapuri. Asian Hotels (North) owns the building. Its facade takes its lines from the Gupta period, and the rooms step back floor by floor up its seven storeys.
Delhi Tourism lists it among the largest five-star hotels in the city. For many families here it is a place for weddings and long Sunday lunches, with The Mansion and its Oval Room for private dinners. La Piazza grows some of its produce on the hotel's own farm.
