The hotel
More than thirty years on the waterfront.
The hotel began as the Beach Hotel and opened its seven-storey Beach Wing in September 1993. A twenty-floor tower followed in September 2002, adding more rooms above the shoreline. Today the whole hotel counts 413 rooms and suites, and an internal entrance leads straight into Abu Dhabi Mall next door. The tower block also holds apartments from the eighth to the twenty-first floor, and the hotel is owned by Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed.
It stands in Al Zahiyah, once called the Tourist Club Area, between the downtown towers and the bridges to Al Maryah Island. The Louvre Abu Dhabi is about five kilometres away and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque thirteen. The hotel has its own private beach, an infinity pool, a pool for children, tennis, squash and padel courts, and Zen the Spa.
- Into the mall Abu Dhabi Mall is connected to the hotel from the inside, so shopping needs no car and no heat.
- The beach A private beach with Blue Flag certification, an infinity pool and a separate pool for children.
- Courts and spa Tennis, squash and padel, the Bodylines fitness club and Zen the Spa.
