The hotel
A hotel inside a tower.
Four Seasons opened here in March 1999, on floors 35 to 39 of a 43-storey tower beside Mandalay Bay at the south end of the Strip. The building is shared, but the hotel keeps to itself, with its own restaurants and its own pool, with no gaming tables and no smoking. Corridors lead through to Mandalay Bay for anyone who wants the noise.
The interiors were reworked by Four Seasons and MGM Resorts' designers around the colours of morning light in the Mojave. Down below, the private pool is lined with cabanas, and guests can also use Mandalay Beach next door, with its sand, wave pool and lazy river. The stadium stands across the boulevard. Executive chef Michael Goodman runs Veranda, with its terrace by the pool, and the PRESS lounge.
- The pool A landscaped private pool with cabanas, which the MICHELIN inspectors found very calm, plus Mandalay Bay's beach and wave pool next door.
- The spa Rated Five-Star by Forbes, with eucalyptus steam rooms and a Zen relaxation lounge.
- No casino One of the few hotels on the Strip with no gaming and no smoking.
