The hotel
A 1913 palazzo, styled after the sixties.
The building is an Art Nouveau palazzo of 1913 on the corner of Via dei Giardini and Via Fatebenefratelli, a few streets from the galleries of Brera. Philipp Plein once used it as a showroom. Baglioni Hotels opened it as Casa Baglioni in early 2023, and it joined The Leading Hotels of the World. The four top suites sit on the fifth and sixth floors, above the roofs of the neighbourhood.
The Milanese studio Spagnulo & Partners took 1960s Milan as the brief: Rubelli wallpaper, Dedar fabrics, Panzeri lamps, rugs after Nanda Vigo and glass and ceramics by Gala Rotelli. Works by Enrico Castellani, Agostino Bonalumi, Carla Accardi and Christo hang in the rooms and halls. Claudio Sadler moved his restaurant here from Via Ascanio Sforza, and kept its star. The wine cellar below holds more than 800 labels.
- Sadler Claudio Sadler's restaurant, one MICHELIN star in the 2026 guide, in the hotel, with its street address at Via dell'Annunciata 14.
- Art of the sixties Paintings and objects by Castellani, Bonalumi, Accardi, Christo and Hans Hartung, lent from a private collection.
- The roof A rooftop bar opens in summer, and the wine cellar holds more than 800 labels for private tastings.
