The hotel
A 1901 façade on the lake.
François Durel designed the building in 1901, in the post-Haussmann manner with a Belle Époque front on Quai Wilson. More than a century later Pierre-Yves Rochon turned it into twenty-six suites, the first hotel in Geneva made only of suites. It opened in September 2021 under Oetker Collection, and took three MICHELIN Keys in the first selection. Twenty-one of the suites look out over Lake Geneva.
Since 1 February 2025 Auberge Resorts Collection has run the hotel for its owner, The Bastion Collection. A former bank vault is now the cigar lounge. The Guerlain Spa fills two floors and 1,200 square metres, around a 21-metre indoor pool, the longest in Geneva. On the dining side, L'Atelier Robuchon holds the city's only two MICHELIN stars, and Le Jardinier was the first restaurant of Alain Verzeroli's brand in Europe.
- L'Atelier Robuchon A counter of 36 seats around an open kitchen, two MICHELIN stars, led by Olivier Jean.
- Guerlain Spa Two floors and 1,200 square metres, with the 21-metre pool, a gym and treatment suites.
- The cigar lounge Set in the old bank vault, with Bar 37 and its view of the Jet d'Eau upstairs.
