The hotel
A new resort on the Zallaq shore.
Jumeirah opened the resort in November 2022, on a stretch of the west coast that had stayed undeveloped. The group belongs to Dubai Holding. The architects, DSA, drew the buildings and the water gardens from the ripples of the Gulf, so lines curve and repeat as you walk from the lobby down to the sea. Wellbeing was part of the brief from the start, and the treatment rooms belong to Jumeirah's own Talise Spa.
Zallaq faces west, so the sunsets are over the water. The Bahrain International Circuit is about ten minutes inland, which makes this a natural base for the Grand Prix weekend, and the Al Areen wildlife reserve is nearby. The rest of the year it is a family beach resort, with clubs for children and for teenagers. Eight restaurants and bars cover Sicilian, Levantine and Gulf cooking.
- Talise Spa Thirteen treatment rooms, separate areas for men and women, a Moroccan hammam and a beauty salon.
- Pools for everyone An indoor pool, an infinity pool for adults only with the Marymas lounge, and a family pool with a slide.
- A private cinema Thirty-six seats for film nights, plus squash and tennis courts and a Technogym gym.
