The hotel
A beach resort on the Seef shore.
The Ritz-Carlton sits on the northern coast of Bahrain in the Seef district of Manama, with the Gulf on one side and the city's shopping streets on the other. Around the seven-storey building lie a white beach of about six hundred metres, a private lagoon of turquoise water and a second lagoon kept for a flock of Chilean flamingos. A marina of 37 berths is reached through the Royal Beach Club.
The MICHELIN Guide, which lists the hotel in its selection, describes a renovated building that now reads more as a spread of villas than a colonnaded palace, with interiors redrawn by Pierre-Yves Rochon. The hotel counts seventeen restaurants, bars and lounges, from a Mexican cantina to a cigar and cognac room, and La Table Krug, sixteen seats run with the Champagne house.
- Seafront villas Three bedrooms, a private infinity pool on the sea and a butler on call around the clock.
- Beach and lagoon White sand along the Gulf, a calm lagoon for swimming, and the Royal Beach Club with its marina and boat trips.
- The Ritz-Carlton Spa Treatments drawn from the sea, a cryotherapy room and a hammam with four plunge pools at different temperatures.
