The hotel
Glass and water in a spa town.
Vrnjačka Banja is a spa town built around seven mineral springs and a large central park. Tonanti stands at its centre on Svetog Save, a building of glass designed by the Belgrade architect Sanjin Grbić and built in 2018 and 2019, and it opened in 2019. It is the first hotel in the town classed at five stars, with 141 rooms and five apartments.
Water is the point of the place. The indoor pool of 300 square metres opens through a removable glass facade onto an outdoor pool with a waterfall and a children's pool, and there is a thermo-mineral pool for adults and older children. All the water is kept between 27 and 30 degrees. Studenica, the twelfth-century monastery on the UNESCO list, is about an hour away by our estimate.
