The hotel

Where Costa Navarino began.

Costa Navarino was the life's work of Captain Vassilis Constantakopoulos, a shipowner born in Messinia, who founded the developer TEMES in 1997 to revive the region he grew up in. The Romanos opened in July 2010 on Navarino Dunes, the first part of the project, with The Westin next door. Seven thousand olive trees were moved and replanted while it was built.

Navarino Dunes covers 130 hectares along the shore. The resort is set among the olive groves, with a furnished terrace facing the sea from nearly every room. The beach is wide and sandy. Behind it lies the Dunes Course, laid out by Bernhard Langer, and around it the Agora of shops and restaurants that the two hotels share.

  • Private infinity pools 121 rooms and suites have a pool of their own, and the Ionian Exclusive suites and villas come with a butler.
  • Anazoe Spa Four thousand square metres of treatments drawn from ancient Greek practice.
  • Golf The Dunes Course by Bernhard Langer is part of Navarino Dunes. The World Golf Awards named The Romanos Greece's Best Golf Hotel in 2018.
