The hotel
Five villas above the Atlantic bays.
Le François faces the Atlantic, but its bays are calm, sheltered behind a reef and dotted with islets. Plein Soleil sits on the hill at Pointe Thalémont, in a tropical park of about eight thousand square metres, with the water below. It is not a beach hotel. The road up is a rough track, and the reward at the top is the view.
The sixteen rooms and suites are spread across five villas painted in Creole colours. Guests share a pool of fifty square metres with gazebos for shade, and most of the larger rooms have a pool of their own, where breakfast can arrive on a floating tray. The restaurant is open to outside guests on booking, and its chef, Rudy Réclair, was Gault&Millau Antilles Chef of the Year in 2020.
- Your own pool The Master Pool rooms, Garden Suites and Duplex Suites each come with a private pool.
- Floating breakfast Served on a tray in your pool, on request.
- The table Creative cooking from island produce, fish and seafood, in a dining room over the bay.
