The hotel

Regent comes back, on Long Beach.

Regent Phu Quoc opened on 19 April 2022, the first resort of the revived Regent brand under IHG and its first in Southeast Asia. It stands on Bai Truong, the long white beach on the west coast of the island, beside a UNESCO biosphere reserve. BIM Group built it as part of its Phu Quoc Marina development, next to the InterContinental, and it opened with 176 suites and 126 villas.

BLINK Design Group did the interiors, and the buildings take their lines from the Vietnamese vernacular. In the lobby hangs Charming Deeps, a hand-blown crystal piece by Lasvit modelled on the reefs around the island. Every room is a suite or a villa, and none sits more than a few steps from the sand. The MICHELIN Guide gave it a Key, the only one on Phu Quoc.
