The hotel
Pearl-Continental at the edge of the runway.
PC Legacy opened in December 2024 as the Skardu address of Pearl-Continental, by the Pearl-Continental division of the Hashoo Group with the orthopaedic surgeon Dr Syed Imran Ali Shah, who shaped the design himself. It stands on Airport Road in Gamba, so close to the terminal that you can walk. The hotel describes its standards as four-star, and notes that Skardu has no traditional five-star hotel.
The airport next door lies at 2,225 metres, with the Karakoram rising around the valley. The hotel is built for that view: a rooftop restaurant looks at the peaks, and a terrace and garden face the mountains. Beyond the rooms in the main building there are chalets for families and the Rafsal Skyline Tower, with two larger suites and a gym on its ground floor.

Getting there
Flying to Skardu.
Skardu International is a few steps from the hotel, with flights from Islamabad on Airblue, AirSial and PIA, and from Lahore on PIA and Airblue. Its runways are over 3,600 metres long and take private jets; the field is shared with the Pakistan Air Force, so permissions are needed well ahead.
