The hotel
Glass on the Hung Hom waterfront.
The hotel opened as the Harbour Plaza Hong Kong and took its present name on 28 January 2010, as its owners brought it into the Harbour Grand line with a sister hotel across the water in North Point. The building is a glass tower set right on the harbourfront promenade at Whampoa, and most rooms look straight across Victoria Harbour to Hong Kong Island.
Whampoa sits a little apart from Tsim Sha Tsui, which is why the hotel runs a free shuttle to Hankow Road every twenty minutes. The ferry pier stands beside it, with boats to North Point, and Whampoa station on the MTR is about 180 metres from the door. The Airport Express stops at Kowloon station, where the hotel's own shuttle meets it every fifteen minutes.
- Rooftop pool An outdoor pool on the roof with a bar and the harbour in front of it.
- Spa and gym A spa on the top floor with sauna, steam room and whirlpool, and a gym open all day and night over the water.
