The hotel

From Silk Road to Wyndham.

The hotel on Amir Temur Street dates from 2003, when the Silk Road Tourism Investment company put money into it, and it traded for years as the Dedeman Silk Road. On 1 January 2015 it took the Wyndham name, when the previous management agreement ran out at the end of 2014. The owner stayed the same, and so did the address in the centre of the city.

Work on a thorough renovation began in 2016, renewing the interiors and the service. The building has eight floors and 206 rooms, and its largest meeting hall, the Silk Road, seats 500. Outside, the Amir Temur Museum is about half a mile away on foot and Independence Square about a mile, while the Alisher Navoi metro station is some five minutes' walk.

  • Two pools An indoor pool for the cold months and an outdoor one in the garden, where the Garden Bar opens in summer.
  • Turkish bath A spa with a hammam, a fitness centre and tennis courts on site.
  • Close to the metro Alisher Navoi metro station is about five minutes on foot. The hotel lists Chorsu Bazaar and the Khast Imam complex among the sights near it.
