The hotel
A garden of jewels.
Anantara Jewel Bagh announced its opening in February 2025, the brand's first hotel in India. The name means garden of jewels. Its plan follows a Rajasthani ancestral palace: arches, jharokha windows and deep chhajja eaves outside, with tikri glasswork, carved wood and gold leaf within. The executive chef, Sunil Jajoria, cooks heritage Indian and Rajasthani dishes, and the Sheesh Mahal is set with mirror mosaic and coloured glass.
It sits on Tonk Road at Bilwa, on the southern edge of Jaipur, close enough to the airport to reach in half an hour. The MICHELIN Guide added it to the 2026 selection with one Key, the first for an Anantara in India. In the rooms, cranes in flight are painted by hand on the headboards. Each morning there is yoga in the Amer Bagh garden.
- Sheesh Mahal The signature room, after the mirror palaces of Rajasthan, set with mirror mosaic and coloured glass and known for its cocktails.
- Anantara Spa Five treatment rooms combining Thai methods with Ayurvedic therapies, and yoga each day in the Amer Bagh garden.
- Designer Dining A private four-course dinner served by a butler, in one of four settings around the grounds.
