The hotel

The younger of two Four Seasons in Bogotá.

The building was the Hotel Charleston before Four Seasons took it over and stripped it back. It reopened in April 2016 as the brand's second hotel in the city, a few months after Casa Medina, with 64 rooms of which almost half are suites. Lauren Rottet's studio designed the interiors in natural fibres, warm wood and neutral colours, and every bathroom was replaced.

It sits on Carrera 13 in the Zona Rosa, the Zona T on most maps, which the MICHELIN Guide counts among the safest districts in the city. The shops, cafés and nightlife of the Zona T are on the doorstep, and La Candelaria, the old colonial quarter, is about 45 minutes away by taxi. In 2026 the guide gave the hotel its first Key.

  • The spa Treatment rooms in colours taken from Colombian emeralds, with Loto del Sur products, a sauna and a gym.
  • La Biblioteca The hotel lounge, known for its Colombian coffee and a power breakfast that was popular in the Charleston days.
  • Beyond the hotel Cooking classes, a chef's tour of the city and helicopter journeys, arranged through the hotel.
