The hotel
A beach house on Cable Beach.
Baha Mar is a resort town on Cable Beach, on the north shore of New Providence, with three hotels and more than 2,300 rooms between them. Rosewood is a twelve-storey building in the British colonial style facing about 3,000 feet of white sand. It has 231 rooms, suites and villas, a three-tiered courtyard pool and a lagoon pool, and holds one MICHELIN Key.
Inside, the tone is a beach house: white wood panelling, teak floors, aqua, vanilla and taupe walls, murals painted by hand in the lobby, and room numbers woven in Bahamian straw. Bahamian art hangs throughout. The resort closed during the pandemic and reopened on 8 March 2021, and Forbes Travel Guide rates it four stars in 2026. Guests can also play the Jack Nicklaus golf course on the estate.
- Café Boulud Daniel Boulud's French dining room, cooking with Bahamian rock lobster, conch and snapper. Named the best restaurant in the Bahamas at the World Culinary Awards 2026.
- Beach villas Four villas of three and six bedrooms on the sand, each with a plunge pool and a butler.
- Sense spa Sense, A Rosewood Spa, with a salon and a fitness centre. The Jack Nicklaus golf course is on the Baha Mar estate.
