The hotel
The old town across the water.
The Grand Park opened in the spring of 2019 on the site of the old Hotel Park, the last piece of the Monte Mulini project, on which the owner, Adris, spent 1.5 billion kuna in all. The architects 3LHD gave the building six levels and turned its 209 rooms towards the old town, the islands and the open sea. Maistra, the group's hotel company, runs it.
Piero Lissoni's studio in Milan did the interiors. Behind the hotel lies the Golden Cape forest park, and the town centre is about ten minutes away on foot. Seven restaurants and bars fill the building, two of them with MICHELIN stars. In 2025 it became the only Croatian hotel on The World's 50 Best Hotels list, and the MICHELIN Guide gave it one Key that year and again in 2026.

Getting there
Flying to Rovinj.
Pula Airport is about 40 kilometres south, roughly forty minutes by car. Private jets use Pula too, where VIP handling can be arranged at any hour, and the drive north to Rovinj is booked with the flight.
