The hotel
The first W Escape in Greece.
W Costa Navarino opened in the summer of 2022 on Navarino Bay, a short drive from the harbour town of Pylos. The site covers thirteen hectares of beachfront. Marriott chose it for Greece's first W Escape, after Spain, Switzerland and Portugal, and placed it next to the Navarino Agora with its shops, street food and outdoor cinema. It shares Navarino Bay with the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino.
The Athens practice Tombazis and Associates drew the buildings, and MKV Design of London did the interiors, with neutral tones, natural textures and stone-built villas on the sand. K-Studio designed the beach club. The hotel takes adults and young adults from twelve, opens each spring, and reopened for 2026 on 2 April. Kitchens are run by the executive chef Nikos Billis, and the beach in front runs for 450 metres.
