The hotel

A new name on Amir Temur.

For years this was the InterContinental Tashkent, and later the International Hotel Tashkent, a state-owned five-star address in the business district along Amir Temur Street. The National Bank and the International Business Center are a short walk away, and the UzExpo exhibition grounds sit next door, so congresses and trade fairs have long filled its halls. Bodomzor metro station is about a minute from the door.

In November 2024 the state privatised the hotel and sold it to a local investor, Smart Fast Stroy. In July 2025 the Russian group Azimut Hotels announced that it would run it as AZIMUT Grand Hotel Tashkent, its first five-star hotel in Central Asia and its second in Uzbekistan. The group has said it means to keep the building's role as a venue for congresses and exhibitions, with one of the largest conference areas in the city.

  • Health club A heated indoor pool of 15 metres, with a gym, a sauna and massage.
  • Conferences One of the largest conference areas in Tashkent, used for congresses and for the trade fairs held at UzExpo next door.
  • On the doorstep Bodomzor metro and the Tashkentland park are a minute's walk away; the Tashkent TV Tower is about fifteen minutes on foot.
