The hotel
A Sheraton reborn on Adelaide Terrace.
The tower began life as the Sheraton Perth. In January 2011 the Singapore group Pan Pacific took it over and reopened it as its first hotel in Australia. With 488 rooms and suites, it holds more luxury rooms than any other hotel in the city centre, and its rooms look over the city skyline or the Swan River. Eighteen meeting and event spaces, including two large ballrooms, make it a conference hotel as well.
Refurbishment began in 2023. By September 2024 all 392 rooms of the main tower and the convention floor were finished, the lobby was nearly done, and the 96 Pacific Club rooms were next in line. The designers drew on the colours of Western Australia, with small references to the hotel's past. Pan Pacific Hotels Group belongs to UOL, the Singapore property company.
