The hotel
A beach in the neighbourhood.
Anse des Cayes is a small bay in a residential part of the north coast, and the Manapany stands on its beach, on the site of an old Portuguese stronghold. The French group B Signature bought the hotel in September 2016 and closed it straight away. It was the group's first hotel outside mainland France. A year later, in September 2017, Hurricane Irma struck the island while the works were under way.
The Paris architect François Champsaur rebuilt it, keeping only some of the old walls, and the hotel reopened on 13 March 2018. Each room has its own colour, from chili red to ultramarine, with furniture made by island craftsmen. The hotel uses solar panels, allows only electric cars on site, and guests can borrow one to tour the island. It has held the Green Key label since 2021.
- Two seaside pools Two pools by the sea, one of them kept for adults.
- Selva Studio Yoga, breathwork and aqua yoga by the sea, alongside the Manapany Spa.
- An electric car to borrow Guests can take one of the hotel's electric cars for a self-guided tour of the island.

Private jets land at Princess Juliana on St Maarten, where a chartered propeller aircraft or a helicopter can cover the last stretch.
