The hotel
A chef's house above the village.
Emmanuel and Kristine Renaut have cooked and kept house in Megève since the late 1990s. Today they work from the route du Leutaz, high on the slope above the village, in wooden chalets with open fires. He is a Meilleur Ouvrier de France. The house joined Relais & Châteaux in 2008, and in 2012 the MICHELIN Guide gave the restaurant its third star, which it has kept since.
In September 2024 the Renauts closed the hotel, restaurant and spa for more than a year of work, and reopened in the autumn of 2025. The rooms use pale wood and stone, hide rugs and wool throws. Every one has a bathtub and a terrace facing the mountains, and some have a stove for wood fires. Up here at 1,300 metres, the spa has a heated indoor pool.
- The restaurant Three MICHELIN stars in 2026, and a table kept for every guest who books a room.
- The spa A heated indoor pool, a sauna and a Swedish bath out on the terrace, at 1,300 metres.
- Skiing A free shuttle runs guests down to the nearest lift.

A helicopter from Geneva reaches Megève in about twenty-five minutes.
