The hotel
A tower across the Isar.
The tower on Arabellastraße went up in 1972 in Arabellapark, a business district in Bogenhausen about four kilometres east of the centre, and was renovated in 2009. It is a big house: 627 rooms and suites, rooms for conferences, and a spa of about 1,500 square metres. The hotel in the Arabella high-rise across the street is operated jointly with it.
Up top, the Westin Club on the twenty-third floor looks out across the city. At ground level the hotel leans into Bavaria, with rooms dressed in local style, a Paulaner tavern and its beer garden. The Englischer Garten is a few minutes away on foot, and the old town about ten minutes away by public transport. Deluxe rooms run to about thirty square metres.
- ISARspa About 1,500 square metres, with an indoor pool, saunas, a steam bath and five treatment rooms, one of them for couples.
- Westin Club A lounge on the twenty-third floor for club guests, with a view across Munich.
- Paulaner's Wirtshaus Bavarian cooking and Paulaner beer, with a beer garden outside in summer.
