The hotel
A hotel in the sky over Akasaka.
The tower of Tokyo Garden Terrace Kioicho stands where the Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka once stood, close to the Imperial Palace and the Benkei moat. The hotel opened on 27 July 2016 on floors 30 to 36, with offices, shops and long-stay residences below, and the lobby sits at the very top. It was the second Luxury Collection hotel in Japan, after Suiran in Kyoto.
Rockwell Group Europe designed the interiors around the sky and the city light. Down on the ground, the Akasaka Prince Classic House of 1930, once the residence of the last crown prince of Korea, now holds the French bistro La Maison Kioi and Bar Napoleon, with a banquet hall for up to 140 guests. In 2026 the hotel received five stars from Forbes Travel Guide.
- Sky lobby Arrival is on the 36th floor, at the Levita Sky Gallery Lounge, with the city laid out below.

- Spa on the 30th floor Spa Kioi by Swiss Perfection, with an indoor pool, sauna and gym.
