The hotel

Ox carts, bicycles and granite.

La Digue has no airstrip. Guests step off the ferry at La Passe and ride the ten minutes north to the hotel by ox cart or open-sided bus. The villas climb the slope above Anse Sévère among gardens and granite, and the restaurants and infinity pool sit across the coast road, looking straight out to sea. The Pool Villas and the Presidential Villa have pools of their own.

At the top of the hill, the Eden Rock Spa is built among gigantic granite boulders, with three double treatment rooms, a steam room and a jacuzzi. The hotel lends bicycles free of charge, and Anse Source d'Argent is a short ride away. The Garden Suite Residences were added in 2015. Le Combava, under thatch beside the pool, serves lunch and dinner six days a week, and The Alambic by the entrance is the bar for a nightcap.
