The hotel

The old Grand Hotel at Glyfada.

Glyfada is a long sandy beach on the west coast of Corfu, closed in by cliffs covered with pine. The Grand Hotel stood on the headland above it until its owners, Hotel Investment Partners, spent fourteen million euros turning it into Domes of Corfu. It opened in July 2021 under the Autograph Collection name, the second Marriott address on the island after Domes Miramare.

The buildings carry domes, and the interiors use stone colours and local materials. Every room and suite has its own patio or veranda, many of them over gardens of blue jacaranda. More than half are suites, some large enough for a family, and a few come with a private pool. Three pools, a Soma Spa and a beach bar on the sand complete the resort, and a Haute Living Selection of suites has a lounge of its own.

  • On the sand Reserved sunbeds and cabanas on Glyfada beach, which flies the Blue Flag.
  • Three pools Three pools, with areas kept for adults, alongside a kids' club and family programmes.
  • Soma Spa Treatments drawn from old Greek rituals, plus a gym with group classes.
