The hotel
A small house inside Via Riyadh.
The St. Regis Riyadh opened in November 2023, the brand's first hotel in Saudi Arabia and the 500th luxury hotel in the Marriott group. It stands at the entrance to the Diplomatic Quarter, the only hotel inside Via Riyadh, a new quarter of designer shops, restaurants and a cinema. With 83 rooms, it was billed as the capital's first boutique luxury hotel.
Kristina Zanic designed it. High sandstone walls close it off from the street, and inside the details are local: gold-trimmed tea sets, mother-of-pearl inlay and carved wood. The rooms look over palace gardens and city roofs. In 2026, the first year of the Saudi selection, the MICHELIN Guide gave it one Key, and Forbes Travel Guide rates both hotel and spa Four-Star.
- The St. Regis Spa About 1,200 square metres, with eight treatment rooms, a spa suite, separate thermal areas for men and women, and AMRA products made with gold.
- Stella Sky The rooftop, with an outdoor pool, sushi and sashimi, and sunset over Via Riyadh.
- The butler St. Regis Butler Service looks after every guest throughout the stay, and keeps out of the way when not needed.
