The hotel
Seven domes in Business Gate.
Fairmont opened its first Riyadh hotel in January 2019, inside Business Gate, an office development on the airport road that houses more than seventy companies. The hotel connects directly to the complex and is built mainly for business travellers: there are two ballrooms, each for up to 1,500 people, and ten meeting rooms. Rooms and suites run from 40 to 395 square metres, and there are 298 in all, 40 of them suites.
Seven domes inspired by Islamic architecture crown the building, and the largest is lit in changing colours at night. Inside, the lobby is art deco, with black and gold geometry, warm yellow and heavy chandeliers. Restaurants and meeting rooms are on the ground floor, which keeps the floors above for guests. Fairmont Gold rooms on the higher floors share a lounge with its own check-in desk and two terraces.
- House of Grill A steakhouse with a chef's table and private dining, led by chef Nicolas Isnard and dressed in the style of the Gatsby years.
- Fairmont Gold Rooms on higher floors with a lounge of their own, a private check-in desk and two terraces.
- Spa for men and for women Separate spas, the women's side with its own salon and gym, run by an all-female team.
