The hotel

An island to itself.

Scrub Island lies a mile off the east end of Tortola, a few minutes by boat from the Beef Island runway, 230 acres of hillside and beach held privately by the resort. It opened in July 2010 and, in 2012, became the first Caribbean member of Marriott's Autograph Collection. Most rooms cluster around the marina; the suites and villas stand apart, the villas with pools of their own.

The marina is the heart of the place, and the resort carries it in its name. It has 55 slips, five of them long enough for yachts of 160 feet, and a fuel dock added in 2022. Sailing, fishing and dive trips leave from the pontoons. On the far side of the island, North Beach runs for 1,200 feet behind a reef, with One Shoe Beach Bar on the sand.

  • The marina Fifty-five slips, room for yachts up to 160 feet, and diesel and petrol on the dock.
  • Three beaches North Beach, calm behind its reef, has its own bar and dipping pool.
  • The pools A four-tiered lagoon pool with waterfalls and swim-up bars above the marina.
