The hotel
Mandalika's first five-star resort.
Mandalika is a tourism zone on the south coast of Lombok, built up by the state developer ITDC around a racing circuit that has hosted MotoGP and World Superbike rounds. The Pullman opened here in 2022, the first five-star resort in the zone and Accor's first five-star hotel on the island. It sits on a secluded bay with green hills behind, a twenty-minute drive from Lombok International and close to the circuit.
The buildings take their shape from Sasak shelters, the traditional houses of Lombok's main people, and the rooms mix modern interiors with Sasak art. The open-air lobby, called The Junction, shows work by local artists. Every room has a balcony facing the garden or the Indian Ocean. Sade and Ende, two Sasak villages, are a short drive inland, and the surf beaches of Tanjung Aan and Kuta are close by.
