The hotel

On the water at Leuvehaven.

The hotel stands on the Maas in Rotterdam's old maritime quarter, where Leuvehaven meets the river. It is part of a waterside complex that began in 1989, when the Inntel Hotel opened in the Maasgebouw, a building shaped like a cruise ship. A panorama tower followed in 2006, and in 2013 a five-star hotel joined them, with a spa and suites that had saunas of their own.

The investment manager Annexum bought it in 2023, and Hilton took both buildings into its fold the same year. After a renovation completed in September 2025, the five-star house reopened under the Curio Collection name, the first in the Netherlands, with 215 redesigned rooms and suites. The DoubleTree next door shares its wellness floor and meeting rooms, and Leuvehaven metro station is beside the entrance.

  • Saunas in the suites The premium suites have a private sauna and a jacuzzi, and many rooms look over the harbour or the river.
  • Wellness An indoor pool, a sauna and a steam bath, with a fitness room alongside.
  • By water A private jetty for the water taxi, and Leuvehaven metro station next to the door.
