The hotel
Over the water at Nissi.
NissiBlu looks over Nissi Beach, the long bay two kilometres west of the centre of Ayia Napa. The resort rises seven storeys and counts 300 rooms and suites, part of them renovated in 2024. Nearly every room has a balcony facing the sea, and room access and settings are run from a tablet or an app on the guest's own phone.
Life here runs between the beach and the terrace pool. A children's pool and a Kids Club sit alongside. Indoors there is a pool heated through the winter and a whirlpool, with the Genesis Spa, a sauna and a gym. In the evening the choice is between Nikkei cooking, steaks cut by the hotel's own butchers at Theros, or the buffet.

Larnaca International is about 58 kilometres away by road. The hotel quotes 35 minutes; we would allow 40 to 50, our estimate. Larnaca handles both scheduled flights and private jets, which use the Skylink executive terminal.
