The hotel

On the sand at Pantachou.

Grecian Bay sits directly on Pantachou beach, the Blue Flag strand on the east side of Ayia Napa. Trade listings date the building to 1978, with a renovation in 2010. Bars and restaurants in town are about ten minutes' walk inland, and the quieter Konnos Beach is a shuttle ride away. It has 273 rooms, each with a balcony, looking inland, along the coast or straight out to sea.

The hotel works around its gardens. A large pool fills the centre, with call bells on the sunbeds for the pool waiters, and a part of the beach below is kept for guests. The harbour and the Love Bridge rock arch are within easy reach, and a shuttle runs up the coast to the sister hotel, Grecian Park, on the cliffs above Konnos Bay.
