The hotel
The newest address in Saraya.
Saraya Aqaba is a new waterfront quarter built by Eagle Hills around a man-made lagoon on the Red Sea. Al Manara opened there in 2018, and the Westin was always meant to follow. It arrived in September 2024 as the first Westin hotel in Jordan, with 289 rooms and suites looking over the gulf and the lagoon.
The designers took their colours from the working port of Aqaba and brought in plants of the region: the black iris, Jordan's national flower, the Sahabi tree and the Mount Tabor oak. The resort is set up for families, with one of the largest children's clubs in the city and the Saraya beach club and water park close by.
- Lagoon and beach An outdoor pool over the Saraya Lagoon, and a private beach for swimming in the Red Sea.
- Heavenly Spa Nine treatment rooms, one of them a suite for couples, looking over the lagoon.
- Room to train A fitness studio of 315 square metres with its own yoga room, open around the clock.
