The hotel

The first hotel in Ayla.

Ayla is a new waterfront quarter on the northern shore of Aqaba, cut through with lagoons and a marina sharing its name with the early Islamic city whose walls were excavated in Aqaba from 1986. Hyatt opened the first hotel there in December 2018, in Marina Village, and the first Hyatt Regency anywhere in Jordan.

Every one of the 286 rooms and suites has a balcony, looking over the marina or the lagoon. Ayla also holds the country's first 18-hole golf course, laid out by Greg Norman. The Red Sea is reached through La Plage, the hotel's beach club, and The Delicatessen sits out on the marina boardwalk.

  • Three pools An adults-only infinity pool, a family pool and a pool at the spa.
  • The spa Six treatment rooms, a Turkish hammam and a garden for yoga.
  • Golf in Ayla The Ayla course, eighteen holes by Greg Norman, the first of its kind in Jordan.
