The hotel

From Radisson Blu to Noom.

The hotel stands on the Corniche Ouest in Fann Résidence, on the Cap-Vert peninsula, joined to the Sea Plaza centre that Teyliom Properties opened in 2010 to designs by the South African practice SAOTA. It began life as the Radisson Blu Dakar, the first hotel of Mangalis, the Teyliom hotel company founded in 2011. The centre next door holds more than half of Senegal's formal retail space, according to Estate Intel, so shops and cafés are a corridor away.

On 1 January 2025 it took the name Noom, Mangalis's five-star brand, while staying with Radisson through the Radisson Individuals collection. Rooms look over the garden or the ocean. The pool bar looks out to sea, and a rooftop bar opens at six in the evening. Several embassies are close by, and so are the African Renaissance Monument and the House of Slaves on Gorée, the hotel notes.

Getting there

Flying to Dakar.

Blaise Diagne International (DSS) is about 44 kilometres east of Dakar, and the hotel puts the drive at about an hour. Private jets land at the same airport, an airport of entry with customs, and a car brings you along the Corniche.
