The hotel

Sixty-one floors over Sathorn.

Banyan Tree Bangkok is the flagship of the Banyan Tree group. It fills the top and the base of a 61-floor tower on South Sathorn Road, in the business district, with Lumphini station a short walk away. Rooms begin at 48 square metres, and the club lounge sits on the 19th floor. Every room faces either the city or the park, with a separate bath and shower.

The draw for many is the roof. Vertigo is an open-air restaurant on the 61st floor, and Moon Bar beside it was rebuilt in 2019 with a diamond-shaped bar and the Moon Walk, a glass bridge over the drop. One floor down is Vertigo TOO, for a later drink. The whole rooftop can be taken for an event of up to 400 guests standing. Far below, on the 21st floor, the pool is 25 metres long.

  • Vertigo and Moon Bar Dinner and drinks in the open air on the 61st floor, with the Moon Walk viewing bridge.
  • The pool Twenty-five metres long on the 21st floor, open from 6 am to 8 pm.
  • Banyan Tree Spa Massages and body treatments in the hotel's own spa.
