The hotel
New life for two modernist towers.
Hyde belongs to Ennismore, the lifestyle group tied to Accor, and this is its first hotel in Latin America. It opened in September 2026 inside two towers from the years of Mexican modernism on Paseo de la Reforma. The developers kept the original facade and structure and rebuilt the inside, and the lobby and restaurants will be shared with SO/ Mexico City Reforma, which is still to open.
Mexican artists fill the public rooms. In the atrium stands Vulcano, a ceramic piece by the architect Javier Senosiain, beside cactus forms by J. Nicole Taboada and a textile work by Vangi Uriegas. Room names follow a concert pass, from General Admission up to the Rockstar Suite, and the minibar is stocked like a band's rider. Zona Rosa and Little Seoul are close by.
- Enzu omakase A counter of fourteen seats, by reservation only, inside a Japanese restaurant that cooks Ensenada seafood over binchotan charcoal.
- The Angel in view Many rooms look onto Reforma and the Angel of Independence, a short walk from the door.
- Art from Mexico Senosiain's Vulcano in the atrium and woven pieces from the studio 86 Nudos in the rooms.

- Many do. Book an All Access Queen Suite with the Angel view to be sure of it.
- Where do private jets land for Hyde Mexico City Reforma?
- At Toluca. Benito Juárez has been closed to general aviation since 1994, so private flights use Toluca, roughly an hour to an hour and a half by car, our estimate.
