The hotel
Seven stars on Finance Street.
The hotel opened in September 2005 as part of the International Finance Centre in Central, at the edge of Victoria Harbour. It rises 45 storeys, though there are no floors numbered 13, 14, 24, 34 or 44. Guests choose between two styles of room: Western, with silk walls and marble, or Chinese, with gold leaf and ink paintings. The hotel connects directly to ifc mall and the station beneath it.
The restaurants won attention early. In 2009 Lung King Heen became the first Chinese restaurant to receive three MICHELIN stars, and Caprice won three in the same year. In the 2026 guide Caprice holds three, Lung King Heen and Noi two each, seven stars under one roof. The same year the MICHELIN Guide raised the hotel from one Key to two, and Argo reached No. 25 among The World's 50 Best Bars.
