The hotel

On the piste at Schlegelkopf.

Aurelio stands at about 1,500 metres on the Schlegelkopf slope, so guests ski from the door and the lifts are 150 metres away. The house is classed five-star superior and run by its host and general manager, Axel Pfefferkorn. Its sun terrace, on the piste itself, faces the Omeshorn, 2,557 metres high. In winter the Licca Lounge has an open fire; in summer guests come for walking, fishing and outdoor swimming.

There are only ten rooms and suites in the hotel itself. An underground passage leads to the Club Chalet, with six doubles and two junior suites, its own chef and butler, let as a whole to groups of up to sixteen. The spa covers 1,000 square metres, with a 23-metre indoor pool. The MICHELIN Guide gave the hotel its first Key in 2026.

Flying to Lech.

Innsbruck is the nearest airport for scheduled flights and private jets, about 120 kilometres or an hour and a half by car. Friedrichshafen is about the same, and Zurich, with the widest choice of long-haul flights, is about two and a half hours away.
