The hotel
Above the old embassy gardens.
Central Embassy stands on land that was once the garden of the British Embassy on Ploenchit Road. Amanda Levete's practice, AL_A, wrapped the tower in 300,000 aluminium tiles, each with two faces, so that it reflects both the street and the sky. A seven-storey shopping podium fills the base; the hotel takes the floors above it.
Park Hyatt opened here in May 2017, the brand's first hotel in Thailand. Yabu Pushelberg did the interiors in a pared-back, residential style, and AvroKO dressed the Penthouse, a bar and grill spread over the three top floors. The MICHELIN Guide holds it at two Keys in its 2026 selection.
- The pool A 40-metre saltwater infinity pool among tropical planting, high above the business district.
- Penthouse Bar + Grill Three floors at the top of the tower, from the 34th to the 36th, with the city all round.
- Shopping below The hotel connects straight into the Central Embassy mall, with about thirty restaurants, a cinema and shops.
