The hotel

Aman in Nai Lert Park.

Nai Lert, born in 1872, built some of modern Bangkok: the city's first department store, its first ice factory, and a garden estate on Wireless Road that dates from 1915. His family still owns the park, now 2.8 hectares of old trees among the embassies, and his house has been restored as a museum that guests can visit.

Aman opened here on 2 April 2025, its third city hotel after Tokyo and New York. Jean-Michel Gathy designed it in warm wood and muted tones. A gold-leaf tree rises through the ninth-floor atrium, and the pool was built around a Sompong tree about a hundred years old. The same tower holds 39 Aman residences.

  • Nai Lert Park Seven acres of gardens around the hotel, with guided visits to the family's century-old Heritage Home.
  • The nineteenth floor Sesui for sushi omakase, Hiori for teppanyaki, a lounge and a cigar bar, kept for hotel guests and Aman Club members.
  • Aman Spa & Wellness About 1,500 square metres over two floors, with a Banya spa house and a medical clinic run by Hertitude.
