The hotel
A Polanco house, opened to guests.
The main house went up in the 1940s, a Neocolonial mansion in the Spanish Revival manner, and a modernist wing was later joined to it. Mexico's National Institute of Fine Arts lists it for its architecture. The architect Claudio Gantous spent four years turning the pair into a hotel, and Mónica Romo and Mónica Novelo did the interiors. Even the attic found a use: it is now the gym.
It opened in June 2022 behind cast-iron gates on Parque Lincoln. Octavio Aguilar, who grew up in Polanco, led the project, and much of the art and textiles came from the owner's collection. In 2026 the MICHELIN Guide named it the only two-Key hotel in Mexico City, one of eighteen hotels in the city on its list. It belongs to The Leading Hotels of the World.
- Parque Lincoln The house faces the park, and the Premier rooms and the Lincoln Suite look straight into its trees.
- Veranda Breakfast, an all-day Mexican menu and afternoon tea in the courtyard, kept mainly for guests and their friends.
- Spa and gym A soundproofed spa for massages and facials, and a gym in the old attic with views into the treetops.

Questions
What guests ask first.
- How many MICHELIN Keys does Casa Polanco have?
- Two. In the 2026 selection it is the only hotel in Mexico City with two Keys; the other seventeen in the city hold one.
- Does Casa Polanco have a restaurant?
- Not one open to the public. Veranda, in the courtyard, cooks breakfast, an all-day Mexican menu and afternoon tea for guests, and room service comes from the same kitchen.
- Where do private jets land for Casa Polanco?
- At Toluca. General aviation has been barred from Benito Juárez since 1994, so private flights use Toluca, about an hour or more from Polanco by road, our estimate.
- Can SkyCourtage arrange the flight to Mexico City?
- Yes. We arrange Business and First Class seats on scheduled airlines and private jet charter to Mexico City, with one final price, our margin included. The hotel is booked with the hotel or through our booking partner.
